GIVE IT A GO
'Give it a Go' events are activites laid on by Clubs and Societies throughout Welcome. They are organised for the purpose of showcasing what their group is all about, giving new/returning students a chance to meet new people, and see what's on offer before becoming a full member. Details of each individual event can be found on this page, but the best place to stay fully up-to-date on timings and locations for these activities is to check out the Social Media accounts of the groups you're interested in joining.

ANSWERING YOUR FAQS
FUNDING
The Students’ Union Fund (SUF) is a pot of money made of £150,000 provided by a range of donors from LSE University.
It was created in 2018 to enable LSE students to bring their ideas and initiatives to life, in order to positively impact the student community at LSE, and wider society.
ADVICE
Our Advice Service provides free advice and support to LSE students on a range of academic and housing issues, and administers a series of hardship funds.
Our independence from LSE means that we're impartial and free from a conflict of interest. You can also apply for Hardship, Childcare and Graduation Gown funding through our advice service.
CONSENT.ED
At LSE and LSESU we are committed to creating a safe and supportive community. To do this, we launched Consent.Ed, an educational programme that explores issues around consent, and provides an opportunity for us to discuss how we can look out for one another and create a respectful and inclusive campus. We all benefit from learning more about what it means to seek and give consent, as well as how to safely intervene when a situation isn’t quite right.
The sessions will empower you to become an active bystander and make positive decisions about your own relationships and interactions with others. You can book your training session online.
Whether you're moving in from down the road, or across the world, living in the heart of London can be a huge change for many students.
We have compiled a collection of our best tips and tricks for navigating the capital, such as the best places to eat near campus, how to get around, and how to make the most of your money.
