Welcome to EconSoc! From all of us here, we could not be more excited to welcome you all to the home for all those who love economics at LSE. We aim to supplement our members' economics education, support all students and provide an outlet for intellectual debate and lighthearted discussion on any and all issues relating to economics.

As the largest academic society at the London School of Economics, and with over 800 members across all disciplines and years of study, we provide unparalleled opportunities to our members. Our society regularly hosts weekly seminars (called Sen Club), an Economics Symposium, corporate events with our sponsors, an annual Policy competition, social events, runs a rigorous and well-known research division, and publishes a student-contributed magazine, Rationale.

This Zoom call isn't what we'd usually have, but that's ok. We've filled this year with PLENTY of amazing programs, events and talks -- and we can't wait to show them to you! In this call, we will go over the various divisions as well as all the cool initiatives YOU can be involved in. We'll wrap up by splitting into small breakout rooms and getting to know each other with fun activities :)
