About us

The LSE Women’s Interfaith Group is a social action charity initiative seeking to bring together female LSE students from all faiths and none. We run fortnightly sessions in which we primarily make sandwiches for homeless people, which are then distributed at the Islamic Society’s Soup Kitchens on campus. We also host speakers and collaborate with other LSE societies such as the FoodCycle Society to tackle food wastage and promote sustainable practices at LSE and run targeted events such as a toiletries collection with the Athletics Union to make care packages. Alongside these key initiatives, we also provide key input on social activism taking place within our student body and outside it - such as the LSE Hands Off Campaign and the LSE Justice for Cleaners Campaign.

Not only is the Women's Interfaith Group a place for fulfilling society's short term needs in the form of food distribution at soup kitchens, but also a place for developing long-term solutions to society's most pressing issues. Join us and help us continue with our mission!

We can't wait to see you this year!
