Welcome to LSESU Social Impact Advisory. We leverage the abundant skills and knowledge of LSE students to help leading UK charities such as the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, VSO, and International Alert improve their processes and maximize their social impact. Everyone involved wins: the charities become more effective and our members gain real-world consulting experience and widen their professional network.
This year, we are running six to eight year-long projects in Michaelmas Term and are planning one or two more for the Lent Term. Our Michaelmas Term projects focus on a variety of different areas, ranging from global conflict to mental health. The focus of the Lent Term project(s) is yet to be determined.
Applications for our Michaelmas Term projects will soon be open. If you missed out on these, don't fret - there are many other ways to get involved with SIA! Keep reading to see the other opportunities we offer to our members.
While it is necessary to buy a membership to partake in one of Social Impact Advisory's projects, the purchase of a membership does not guarantee a position on a project team.
We also hold socials, speaking events, and skills workshops for our members throughout the year. These are open to anyone with a membership; you do not have to be a member of a project team to attend.
If you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact us through our Facebook page, our Instagram (@lsesu_sia), or our society email address (S.I.Advisory@lsesu.org).
