Here are the results:

PASSED - 89% yes

Should the LSESU adopt an official policy in favour of the decriminalisation of sex work and lobby LSE to provide more support for student sex workers? Read here.

PASSED - 100% yes

Should the LSESU facilitate and support Spaces and Performances for Creative Arts Societies? Read here.

referendum - 72% yes

Should LSESU seek dialogue with LSE senior leadership to press for full and meaningful divestment from fossil fuels and weapons, including indirect investments? Read here.

This means that we have two new Students' Union policies and one up for referendum.


The referendum

4 June 2024

9am - 9pm

Online

Every student has a right to vote in this referendum.

There will be a choice to vote 'Yes,' 'No,' or 'Abstain.'

 

This referendum will also be discussed at the Student Town Hall

4 June 2024

5pm - 7pm

Shaw Library

All Campaign Leads will have the opportunity to present their referendum cases and receive questions from attendees.
