How does your Students' Union hear from students and address issues across the school? One of the main ways is through Consultative Fora meetings, which are held in Autumn and Winter term at Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught, and Postgraduate Research level.

What are the consultative forum?

Most of students' experience is rightly centred on their courses, programme, and in their departments. However, a lot of what makes LSE world-class is supported by central teams, ranging from the Library to Residential Services.

In order to hear and address feedback directed towards these teams, as well as school-wide discussions, the Students' Union convenes discussion forums between students and staff.

These meetings are held once in Autumn and Winter term at each level of study: Undergraduate, Postgraduate Taught, and Postgraduate Research.

Feedback is collated from departmental Student Staff Liaison Committees and a wider student agenda. Successes, challenges, and solutions are discussed, with clear actions for improvements across the school being shared so that we all work to ensure every student at LSE has an excellent experience.

You can access all the previous actions, minutes, and associated information via this site.
