GGSF OPENS ON THURSDAY, MARCH 23rd
Graduation is an exciting occasion and can bring a lot of joy, but it can also create stress due to obligatory expenses. If you’re set to graduate and experiencing financial hardship, the LSESU Graduate Gown Support Fund (GGSF) can help by waiving the full gown hire fee.
LSE graduation gowns are hired from Ede & Ravenscroft and cost approximately £75 to hire for the big day. No student should miss out because of not being able to afford the costs associated with hiring a gown. The GGSF will cover the graduation gown hire fees for any student who cannot currently afford the costs.
Applications for the July 2023 Graduation Ceremonies will open on Thursday, March 23rd and remain open until Friday, May 19th. To apply:
- Fill out the GGSF Application Form
- Submit the form AND your most recent bank statement to su.advice@lse.ac.uk.
It is recommended you read the GGSF Guidance Document for application information and eligibility criteria before filling out the form. The fund is open to all graduating students.
