HELEN BOURNE

Vote for an inclusive undergraduate trustee with extensive charity experience!

Why vote for me?

  1. I have substantial charity experience as a volunteer, manager, and trustee. The Charity Commission highlights breadth of experience in the charitable sector as an asset to trustee boards - I can provide this.
  2. I represent the undergraduate population - LSESU should have a trustee who represents the population who depend upon LSESU the most as they begin their higher education journey.
  3. I am state-school educated, and would ensure issues faced by this population are considered during decision-making.
  4. I understand the barriers to social and academic inclusion, and the hardships that some students experience. I would be committed to supporting LSESU in ensuring that all students have equal access to resources and support, and that decisions reflect the needs of those who require LSESU support the most.

About me:

You may know me through my roles as LSE Student Advisory Board member,  LSE Volunteer Ambassador, and 93% Club committee member. I work with Hudl Youth Development Agency and The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, supporting charity development and youth advocacy. I am currently Advisor to the Trustee Board of the National Park City Foundation and have been Youth Trustee for the charity Action for Conservation.
