Hello! I'm Reese and I'm running to be a Student Trustee of the LSESU. I consider myself to be a changemaker and community-builder — eager to advance the interests of the study body through the LSESU.

In terms of my experience, I founded and scaled my own youth-led nonprofit in Hong Kong and worked full-time at nonprofits including the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Ashoka, the world’s leading community of social entrepreneurs. I am also a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and am the President of the LSESU Social Innovation Society.

With my experience working with nonprofits and charities, I hope to support the LSESU in ensuring that it utilizes its resources effectively and continues to be ambitiously student-centric.

My vision for the LSESU involves streamlined processes, increased transparency and the strengthened support of societies at LSE: 

• Transparency and accountability regarding the LSESU’s operational processes, decision-making and budget
   

• Cross-society partnerships, events and more comprehensive funding and support for student societies
   

• Build further rapport between the LSESU and the student body by increasing the visibility of the LSESU’s work and opportunities to get involved
