Hey I’m James, the current RAG President and Part -Time Officer (PTO) on the LSESU Executive Committee! This past year I have been responsible for the freshers RAG Band 2022, RAGxAU Fashion Show 2023, and most recently LSE’s first Vintage Charity Shop. Now, I look to be elected as your General-Secretary:

1. Rank Number 1 for Student Satisfaction in London by the end of 2024

2. Lobby LSE to rejoin Stonewall, meet UCU’s demands, expand LSE's EDI team, sign the Race Equity Charter and offer Hate Crime Support and Training all by the end of 2023 

3. Rip-up the red tape and bureaucracy in the SU 

   • Restructure the SU to be more transparent and accountable

   • Reform the current Society structure and introduce Sub-Societies

   • Re-establish the Creative Network

   • Greater financial freedoms for societies to gain external sponsorships to subsidise their operations

   • Streamline charity activity through RAG with guaranteed access to a card-reader for fundraising

   • Protect funding for The Beaver

4. Launch an LSESU app 

   • A centralised hub for announcements, communication platform and event calendar for all upcoming society events

5. Subsidise food on campus to assist with the cost of living crisis

6. Establish a network between LSE, UCL, Imperial and Kings for closer links and collaboration for students and societies
