MEHUL BANSAL

Fostering a Home away from home!

I am Mehul Bansal, you might know me as an executive committee member of the India Society, Accounting & TedxLSE society. These roles have led me to run for this position and opened a new window for me to make a wider difference for the collective LSE Student body.

I understand the struggles of navigating a new educational system and adapting to a new culture. My goal as your International Student Officer will be to advocate for your rights and interests, promote cultural diversity, and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all international students.

Vision:

1)  Assume office and re-organize functioning to plan future events for enhancing the inclusivity of international students.

2) Collaborate with other officers and societies to organize regular events for students.

3)  Making a dedicated redressal and grievances reporting mechanism to make it easier for international students.

4) Promote an active dialogue between international students and LSESU

5) Attempt to organize events to make international students feel part of a bigger community.

6) Organise a Cultural Showcase; inclusive of an international leaders conference, dance showcase, and a food festival.

7) Better chains of communication between international student-related societies and clubs.
