I’m Chris, a second year Phil&Econ student, running to be your voice as AU PRESIDENT. I’m a heavily involved member of Men’s Football. This year due to a season-ending injury, I’ve had first-hand experience of the AU’s off-the-pitch impact, from an unforgettable Carol to the commitment to making LSE a safer place with HandsOff. As a member of several societies such as Sports Business and PPE, I’m well-connected within our community - the rapport I’ve formed with many of you enables me to push for the changes YOU want to see. The AU has been central to my LSE journey so I’m determined to positively impact you as President by:
ENHANCING the Union’s capabilities by securing funding from external sponsors that truly reflects the AU’s importance to LSE life.
ENERGISING AU spirit by cultivating more interclub activities, revamping social media presence and producing inclusive socials to increase participation of minority groups such as BAME and LGBTQ.
EXPANDING our community impact through local charity collaborations, while increasingly involving existing LSE societies and movements, and other universities.
ENGAGING alumni to attract funding and provide a network for avid sportspeople.
EXECUTING upgrades to AU such as mandatory consent training and renewed reimbursements.
