Hi, I’m Maha and I’m running for AU President.

Having planned events as a current AU Exec for over 850 including weekly socials, Carol, AU Ball, and Fight Night, and being a Netball Captain, I have more than enough experience to represent AU members.

As an AU member, I've experienced firsthand how the AU can fundamentally transform your university experience! I hope to enable more students to have the same fantastic experience by implementing the following:

- Maximise ACCESSIBILITY by ensuring events are as affordable as possible (Ball Tickets below £50).

- Increase INCLUSION of marginalised and BAME groups by introducing inclusive sports and social events across the year.

• Increase INCLUSION through additional daytime socials and non-drinking events.

- Make Wednesdays more fun by working with other societies and universities!

- Have more Intersport socials and competitions! LSEAU Sports Day!

- Making LSE a more ‘sporty’ university by collaborating with other societies and holding competitions such as inter-faith, 'international', and inter-cultural matches.

- Increase the number of FIXTURES for EVERYONE, especially smaller clubs, by improving access to CLUB FUNDS and communication with other universities.

- IMPROVE the reimbursement system!

- COLLABORATE with the wider SU to diversify the social calendar while expanding already successful events.
