Han's got a plan!

Hello! I'm Hannah and I’m running to be your Education Officer. I’m currently a 3rd year History student. Before university, I was a teacher in higher education and worked creating curricula. Therefore I can bridge the gaps between students, teachers and administrative staff. I have already developed my professional experience at LSE: working as a consent education facilitator for the SU; and founding and leading LSEX, a student campaign which aims to provide students from all educational backgrounds practical sex education.

My Goals:

  • Review student compensation for academic loss due to strikes

  • Assess the training and support given to Graduate Teaching Assistants (PhD candidates who lead seminars)

  • Better promote programs of practical education like LSEX or Digital Skills Lab and introduce evening classes at the SU in other practical topics like BSL (British Sign Language)

  • Refine the consent education programme, introducing greater oversight and training for providers

  • Better support and cross-department access for students in multi-discipline and joint honor degrees

  • Clearer communication for incoming students with disabilities on help available (inclusion plans, government DSA funding)

I love LSE, a vote for me would allow me to help make it even better.
