LSESU Welcome Week Freshers Fair 2023

93% Club

We support state-educated students by providing a sense of community, networking opportunities and resources to enhance their university experience and future career prospects.

The 93% Club is a nationwide student-led initiative which aims to support and empower state-educated students in higher education. It addresses the challenges and barriers we might face, providing opportunities such as networking, career workshops, and cultural trips to enhance student's career prospects and university experience. Most importantly, we offer a welcoming community for all. The name "93% Club" reflects the statistic that approximately 93% of students in the UK are educated in state schools, however currently we occupy a much smaller percentage of top job titles, and that's why we're here and on a mission to support state-educated students in higher and education and beyond. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, and we're so proud to be the 2023/24 winners of Most EDI Focused Society and Society of the Year. We have another fascinating year ahead with so much planned to build on the achievements and grow our community. Make sure to join us so you don't miss out!
