Welcome to the LGBTQ+ Society at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) via our Students’ Union (LSESU)!
We are a student-run society open to all students and allies across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Our aim is to provide a safe space through a range of social, political, and career-focused events throughout the term!
Social: We hold regular, chilled social events for LGBTQ+ students and allies at the LSE. From club nights to film nights, we aim to have something for everybody. Bring along friends or make new ones by joining the LGBTQ+ Society today!
Political: We also aim to host engaging discussions and events around international political topics and current issues pertinent to our members and community. As a committee, we are open to listening to our member's ideas and events and trying our best to make them happen.
Career: We wouldn't be an LSE student society if it weren't for our focus on career development too! The idea of entering the workforce can be daunting for students. Therefore we want to connect our members with recent alums, career workshops, and networking events in a safe environment to ask questions that may be specific to the LGBTQ+ community. We also signpost resources, internships, and full-time opportunities to our members!
Here are just a few examples of the exciting events we have held in the past:
By becoming a member of the LGBTQ+ Society today, who knows how many friendships and memories you will make?
