Welcome to ImprovSoc! We hope to bring more opportunity and awareness to the world of improv and the joys it can bring. Whether you want to build confidence, learn a new skill or aspire to perform we aim to accommodate members from the absolute beginner level to those with experience on stage. Amidst the hustle and bustle in LSE we believe in providing a fun space for adults to meet and reconnect with their silly side.
Each week, we will be hosting friendly drop-in sessions where we play drama/improv games to develop improv skills. We welcome all members even those who only wish to watch - there is no pressure to perform at all and participation is up to each member's comfort. These sessions are not mandatory and are available at a fixed time each week so members can attend whenever it best suits them.
Last but not least, we are a society with few but dear rules:
Rule no. 1 - This is a safe and friendly space for people to try out a new art form and express themselves.
Rule no. 2 - This is a society that prides itself on being inclusive to all parts of LSE
Rule no. 3 - Have fun! Please if you do anything in this society we hope it's that you had fun whether it be in a one-off drop-in session or as a regular.
