Socialist Worker Students

We are a student society committed to playing our part in the resistance against capitalism. Affiliated with the Socialist Workers Party (SWP), we hold weekly meetings and discussions on key social, political, and economic issues, while also campaigning, raising awareness, and taking to the streets in protest.

We stand in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle against occupation and oppression. We fight against all forms of racism and imperialism, recognising that liberation for one is bound up with liberation for all. We proudly support trans rights and the fight against sexism, homophobia, and all systems of oppression that divide and exploit the working class.

We believe in the power of dialogical action – building coalitions with other student and community groups to unite against exploitative and oppressive systems and fight for a world that restores power to those most marginalised. Only through collective action can a revolutionary socialist transformation of society be achieved.
