LSESU’s Award Season is a highlight in our calendar and is our opportunity to celebrate our clubs and societies, campaigners, and other incredible individuals who have worked hard to ensure the enhancement of the academic and extracurricular experience of LSE students!
We host two awards each Winter Term:
The SU Awards are hosted to celebrate the achievements of the LSE Student Community. This can be through the events and communities built by our societies, or making an outstanding contribution to the SU by being involved in campaigns and student groups.
Categories are announced in Autumn Term and we receive around 300 nominations each year, which are put forward to a panel of Sabbatical Officers, SU staff, and LSE staff.
The Teaching Awards are a collaboration between LSE and LSESU and aim to recognise members of staff and academic representatives who have made an impact on the educational experience at LSE. The Teaching Awards are a way where students can say thank you to departments, lecturers, and other students who have made a difference to their time at LSE.
Nominations are taken to a panel consisting of Sabbatical Officers, LSESU Staff, and Academic Representatives.
